At West Coast Water & Trucking, Inc. our company is built around the old-fashioned principles of honesty, integrity, and hard work, while bringing our customers modern-day results they can rely on. Our commitment to those principles is what makes us a leader in our industry today.
Our story started back in 1997 in South San Francisco, where we came upon an opportunity to buy a used garbage truck for a pretty good deal. After several days of some intense scrubbing, you could only get a faint whiff of the cigarette smoke and rotting garbage smell that used to permeate the 1985 Peterbilt’s powder blue interior. The plan was to turn this truck into a ten-wheeler…and that is where the seeds were sown. Betsy was the first in the fleet, and though she was eventually upgraded we never forgot how a bit of hard work could uncover a diamond in the rough.

We continued to apply that hard work and today our fleet looks quite a bit different than it did in those days…and though we have upgraded and grown substantially over the years we never lost sight of what was most important. No matter how tough the road has been, we have held true to our founding principles and never compromised our values. That remains our company’s greatest accomplishment.
